I like this ongoing theme of skeletons with animals emerging from inside them. Somehow it's both creepy and touching.

Charongess responds:

Thank you. Focus on skeletons is absolutely the direction I plan to go in when I finally have time to create again.

Gorgeous. Given the subject, it is especially poignant that this is done in a pixel art style.

maruki responds:

Thank you for the kind words

Wow...gorgeous!

Kamikaye responds:

Thanks ! :)

I only recently finished the series...what a wonderful show. I'll miss it. Thanks for this beautiful pixel art. The reflections in the little pools of water are lovely. Your work is stunning and I'm enjoying following you.

If you're interested, I recently did a musical tribute to Steven Universe. You can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUX7ac33RGQ&t=557s

Looking forward to your next piece!

Moonshen responds:

Thanks so much!
Beautiful thanks for sharing that amazing piano solo, yeah its an amazing and inspiring show.

I didn't know about the newer epilogue series! Wow...I'll have to go check that out tonight. Such a gorgeous show.

ZeTrystan responds:

Yes! There's the movie, and an entire new (and last) season! :)

Beautiful. Favorited. I don't remember if I've brought up this person to you before, but if you haven't seen Rudolf Herczog's work I think you should check it out ( http://rochr.com/ ). Talented digital artist with a similar aesthetic, someone I used to follow on Renderosity back in 2005-2008 (not sure if he's still working).

Kamikaye responds:

Thx ! :) YEa you linked that page I think. I have seen his work. Maybe I'll concentrate on learning more 3D next.

Gorgeous work as always! This one reminds me a little of Rudolf Herczog's work, with the clouds and the glare. See http://www.rochr.com/

Kamikaye responds:

Thx ! Als thx for the interesting Link !

Nice work, Maruki! Always enjoy seeing your art in my feed. There's something ironic about titling a pixel art "organic", since it's such a technological (and beautiful) style.

maruki responds:

Hi Ben, thanks a lot for your kind words, your reviews always make me happy.

I love it! But is it just me or is there something weird going on with one of the lasers and the center guy's head? I can't tell if the laser is in front of him or behind him. Presumably, looking at the scene it should be in front of him, but then in order to see as much of the laser as we do here his helmet would have to be semi-transparent and headless.

Kamikaye responds:

Thx !° :)

Yea ... your erright. I think I baked the layers in the wrong order with him. :/

So beautiful, love your style and subject matter. The lighting is great, the way the eye is drawn to the sun in the center and the contrast of that area against the objects in the water, it all looks like a memory of a dream (or a book, apparently). Thanks for sharing.

Kamikaye responds:

Thanks ! :) It was painted from my mental imagery of i, I'm glad that comes across !
