This is really cool! I like your style.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

You guys did a terrific job!

I really like what you've done here with the percussion. On the whole I prefer the first Pleiades, and I think this one may be "suffering" from the same general complaint--lack of harmonic content--but I really enjoyed this track as well.

I like the title. Are you thinking of the Greek Pleiades or the star cluster? Even though this is ambient music, I think you may be writing too much emphasis on one chord (C# minor). It would be nicer, I think, if the harmonies moved around a little more, particularly in the middle of this track. That said, I'm putting this on my favorites list--that little melodic figure at the beginning and end is so beautiful, and so sad...

Congratulations on your front page feature! This is a very strong track. One of the key phrases in your description in my estimation is "tightly woven"--the elements of this music really are very tightly woven together, organized and performed. I would be hard-pressed to provide criticism of any element singularly. This tightness, combined with what feels to me the perfect length for this material, makes this movement one of your best short works. Keep it up!

Hey Ben, I'm glad you enjoyed the track -- and appreciate your kind words! Thanks for dropping by!

Lovely. I like that you've utilized the ability of LAS to smoothly slide from note to note. (Here again, the LAS strike me as having been very well programmed). The entire track is subdued and thoughtful. I might have liked to hear more modulation and length, especially given the scope of your accompanying quote. I look forward to hearing more from you. :)

Rampant responds:

The quote was really more of an afterthought, haha. Nonetheless, I intend to revisit this track at a later date to make it longer and (hopefully) more thought-provoking. Thanks for the review; I'm planning on reviewing other people's tracks soon.

Wonderful work!

It was a neat experience to read through your description while listening to the track. Why the hell did someone make this trip in the first place?

Flashmovieboy responds:

First of all, I'm glad you took time to zone into the music I create. Thanks !
In my imagination it is someone who meant business to make in africa but didn't expect it to go awry, perhaps a voluntary worker of some humanitarian aid, some extremely dedicated tourist, illegal endangered-species hunter etc. and then, the weirdest, most amazing stuff really happens when you least expect it.

Really love this take on the Pokemon theme.

Nice work. This does sound like Glorious Morning to me, but it also exhibits your own personal style.
