I liked how you took out the beginning riff once the melody came in and then put it in again later. Love the sound you feature starting at 1:20. I think I'd like it better it were longer and you built it up more, although as it is I guess the title is pretty well chosen. Didn't like the crash cymbal ending, didn't seem to fit the piece very well.

This is friggin' awesome. Love the percussion intro and the offbeat piano part, especially the counterpoint at 0:51. You should change the title. :)

I really enjoyed this track. My favorite moment is the build up at 1:13 where you take out everything except the piano and the synth- I like the sparse texture there, also the beginning. Haven't heard the original.

[Project Pianoi - Track 4]

Track 4 = 4 out of 5?

The riffs are pretty cool. :) Here are a few of my favorite things: the section starting at 0:34 is driving. I love the low piano repeating piano notes there. I like the fugue-like texture around 1:00 and I really, really love the pizzicato strings at 1:12. The fast sixteenth notes around 1:43 are a neat texture and it loops well.

I agree, that opening is amazing. What a cool sound. I downloaded the track so I can listen again later. Not sure if I'm convinced with the small section at 1:25. Maybe it would be a good idea to use that motif somewhere else in the piece or maybe develop it further.
